Quilt Challenge

Each year the Swamp Fox Quilters’ Guild Challenge Committee issues a quilt challenge based on a specific theme, style, color and/or certain size requirements for the guild members to participate in. The quilters have one year to create a quilt which embodies the chosen theme. The quilts are displayed each summer, starting in June at the Hartsville Museum in Hartsville, SC. The guild members vote on those quilts demonstrating things such as “best use of theme”, “best machine quilting”, “best hand quilting”, “best hand applique”, and an overall “best in show” – to name a few of the categories.
